NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) -- New Orleans police are looking for a man who they say walked into the Old New Orleans Rum Company on Frenchman Street, at 1:00 in the afternoon, and stole some of the business' property.
The company makes a list of specialty rums, but that's not what the man went after. Instead, according to police, he stole a shop vac from the business. It happened on November 8th. Click on the video button above to see more security camera photos of the accused thief.
Wednesday's Wheel of Justice report also included a shooting from the prior morning. Police released a photo of a man named Daniel Kelly. They say he shot his ex-girlfriend in the stomach during an argument. She's recovering from her injuries, and Kelly will be booked with attempted murder once he's arrested. The attack happened in the 2300 block of Baronne Street.
Finally, Wednesdays WOJ report included the search for two men who robbed three roommates inside their home on Broadway Street, near Saint Charles Avenue, on November 15th. Police released surveillance video of one of the suspects. Police say the pair tied up the roommates and stole their wallets and jewelry. The surveillance video, according to police, was recorded at store near the crime scene.
