NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) -- Perhaps you've had one of those repair shops fix the broken glass on your cell phone. Well now, it's a store itself that has the broken glass, thanks to burglars. The owner of HT Phone Repair on General DeGaulle says he's had the front glass of his store shattered twice. The first time, the vandals used a hammer but didn't enter the store. The second time, last week, they used rock then stole several phones from inside of a display case. Click on the video button above to see the surveillance footage!
Wednesday's Wheel of Justice report also included the search for a man who New Orleans police describe as a person of interest, not a suspect, in a robbery at a Family Dollar store in Algiers. Police think 33-year-old Jaye Crenshaw might know something about the attack which included a machete! The NOPD released two photos of him. You'll find the other, along with more details about the robbery, in the video at the top of the page.
Finally, Thibodaux police released photos and names of two persons of interest in a drive-by shooting last month that left one person dead and two more injured. Initially, police named Jordan Williams as a person of interest. Now they've added Kenya Patterson and Cedrick Banks to the list. Again, all three men are considered persons of interest in the case, not suspects.
