NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) -- Hard to imagine a robber could look more casual and nonchalant that a guy who robbed the Sterling Express on Airline Highway early Sunday morning. But his mood changed once his opportunity arrived at the store's checkout counter. According to police, the robber got away with more than $200. Another robbery case begins with a violent break in at a man's home in the Gentilly Terrace neighborhood. Surveillance video shows the three attackers gather at the door to the home then kick it down and burst in. According to police, all three robbers were wearing red hoodies with white and red bandanas covering their faces. Finally, Monday's Wheel of Justice report includes a man who went shopping for his victim at a Rouse's on Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie. It happened at about 10:00 that same morning. According to a JPSO spokesman, a woman had just exited her car to go inside the store when a man got out of a nearby car, revealed a gun in the waistband of his pants, and stole the woman's purse. Then he got back into his car, described only as being gray in color, and drive away from the scene.
