NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) -- New Orleans police are trying to track down whoever robbed two Magnolia Discount stores Monday morning. The attacks happened hours apart, and the suspects' descriptions are similar -- but not identical. One of the robberies happened at the store in the 3400 block of South Claiborne. The other happened at the store in the 1600 block of Elysian Fields. Click on the video button above to see surveillance footage from both robberies as well as the suspects' similar descriptions.
Monday's report also included surveillance footage from inside the Slippin Southern Shop on South Claiborne. The business makes wood trim and decorations for homes. The footage shows a man who used a brick to break a window of the business and go inside to steal $500 worth of power tools.
Finally, Saturday's attempted robbery at the Walmart in Gentilly is still a hot topic. Click on the video button above to see surveillance footage of the gunman as he rushed into the store.
