NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Aug. 24, 2020, police found De'Quan Dew shot to death inside of a car. For more than a year, the Crimestoppers reward has been expired, until now.
The crime happened in the 3400 block of Mansfield Avenue around 9:30 p.m. In most cases, Crimestoppers offers rewards for two years. In this case, the organization listed two slightly different expiration dates, one on the Crimestoppers website and another on the case's flyer.
WGNO News reached out to Crimestoppers about the different expirations dates and can now report that the organization is extending the reward for an additional year.

So far, more than 475 people have been booked after their cases rolled on the Wheel of Justice.
