NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating a series of unrelated bicycle thefts. The cases are the latest ones to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
One theft happened in the Lakeview neighborhood in the 6000 block of Louis XIV Street. Police also released some security camera footage of the suspect. In the video, the suspect is seen removing a bicycle, reported to be a 15 speed Ozone brand mountain bike, from the backyard of a home.
Police also released video in a second investigation in the 2700 block of Hudson Place in Algiers. But in this case, police say the suspect is accused of the attempted theft of a bicycle.
