METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) -- Terrebonne Parish deputies released two photos of the vehicle owned by a woman who was found murdered in her home last week.
This is the car that belonged to Pamela Johnson. Last Monday night, deputies say Johnson was shot and killed inside her home on Country Drive. Deputies say the killer left the scene in Johnson's 2013 gray Buick Enclave.
They also say he took her two young nieces, ages 7 and 10. The car was found abandoned in West Houma on Wade Street. The children were inside the car and unharmed. Once arrested, the killer will face murder and kidnapping charges.
Monday's Wheel of Justice report also included the search for whoever broke into the Enterprise Rent-a-Car office on the Interstate 10 access road in New Orleans East.
According to police, the pair pried open the doors to the business and cut the safe from its floor. They escaped in a white SUV. To see surveillance video of the break-in, click on the video button above.
Finally, Monday's WOJ included the search for three suspects in the gunfight at Bunny Friend Playground. Since the shootout, the NOPD has named eight suspects. Five are behind bars. But according to police, Wilfred Celestine, Quendrick Bailey, and Michael Allen remain on the lose. All the current suspects face 17 counts of attempted murder, one for each of the people injured in the attack. Below is a photo gallery of the remaining suspects on the loose in the case.
