NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) -- New Orleans police are looking for three people in connection with a burglary at the Italian Pie restaurant on Paris Avenue. According to police, two of the burglars broke into the restaurant and stole $300 worth of alcohol while the third drive the getaway pickup.
The burglary was reported on April 14th. Surveillance footage shows the burglars' pickup pull up to the front of the restaurant. Two men are seen breaking in through the locked front doors.
Inside the business, the footage shows them gathering bottles of alcohol from around the bar area.
The third suspect returns and picks up the accomplices as they leave the building. Minutes after the burglary begins, the pickup truck races safely away.

The burglars covered nearly their entire bodies, so there isn't much of a description. But perhaps you know and recognize them.
The restaurant's owner suspects the burglars were young people who were stealing the alcohol for a party or similar event. She says the joke will be on them, too, when they discover that some of the bottles were for display only and didn't contain real booze.
