SLIDELL, LA (WGNO) -- Slidell police are looking for whoever is smashing windows and stealing valuables from cars that are parked outside fitness gyms in the city. The case is the latest to roll on the Wheel of Justice.
So far, there have been at least three instances. According to Slidell police, LA Fitness and Planet Fitness are the gyms. The cases happened in September.
Police say the thief is taking valuables, usually electronics, that are left in plain sight inside their cars while they're working out.
Detectives are looking for a car that they say was involved in the burglaries. It's a white Nissan Murano with a sticker, perhaps a fleur de lis, on the back window.
