NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) - NOPD Investigators were called to the corner of Walmsley Avenue and S. Lopez Street, early Monday morning to investigate a severely burned body found inside a dumpster. The case is the latest to be included in our Wheel of Justice reports.
Detectives were called to the scene about 4 a.m. after New Orleans firefighters discovered the body while putting out a fire in the dumpster.
Detectives say the body is male, but they didn't release any other information, including, age, race or cause of death.

The case is being treated as a homicide.
